Our Black Cumin Seed Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the flowering Nigella sativa, a medicinal plant native to southwest Asia and the Mediterranean. Also known as Black Caraway, Black Cumin, Roman Corianderor Kalanji, the seeds have been used for many centuries for the treatment of many human illnesses, and were even discovered in the tomb of Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamen.
In particular, Black Seed Oil is rich in Thymoquinone, which has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, Black Seed Oil help in treating skin conditions, including acne, eczema, general dry skin and psoriasis. Kalonji Oil is also rich in vitamins A, C, and E, amino acids, and essential fatty acids which help the skin retain moisture, maintain elasticity, and fight the damaging free radicals that cause aging.
