Kelp is a large algae found in salt water. Atlantic Kelp is produced in the Atlantic oceans' ice-cold waters and produces rich, nutrient-packed kelp that is darker in colour, and richer in minerals like iodine, magnesium, and iron than Pacific-grown Kelp.
Atlantic Kelp has two huge beneficial properties for the skin; Kelp is high in antioxidants and it is anti-inflammatory. Antioxidants aid in protecting the skin from external pollutants and factors, while anti-inflammatory properties help reduce redness and irritation due to a variety of causes such as prior skin conditions, dryness and other environmental factors.
