Great general-purpose oil with a light texture and quick absorption for all skin types. Softening, moisturizing and anti-aging. Apricot Oil closely resembles sebum produced naturally in human skin making it a great face and body oil. Used topically, it is very moisturizing and gentle to use for those with dry and sensitive skin. It also smoothes blemishes, wrinkles, fine lines, and other symptoms of maturing skin by stimulating collagen production. Medically, apricot oil can be used to treat colds and coughs, constipation, as well as joint pain. It can also be applied to itchy, chapped, wounded, or sore skin to speed up the healing process. Apricot oil makes a great alternative to sweet almond oil for those with nut allergies. It is rich in Vitamins A, E, & Omega-3, giving it natural UV radiation protection, cell regeneration, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and brightening properties.
Use: Creams, lotions, balms and ointments. Can be used up to 100% in body oils and face oils. Note: May not be suitable for those with nut sensitivities.
