Natural and effective non-toxic laundry detergent that is free of phosphates, petrochemicals, artificial fragrances & dyes.  

This concentrated detergent contains sodiums that work to remove and trap dirt. The sodiums ensure dirt gets flushed out with the water instead of reattaching to your clothes.  It also contains essentials oils of lemongrass, tea tree, and lemon for added cleaning power, while offering a nice soft clean scent.  Works great in all washers and is packed in a reusable/refillable wide mouth mason jar!

 

  • BIODEGRADABLE – This mineral-based formula is safe for our environment.
  • HE SAFE - Feel comfortable knowing that you can use this in your HE machine as it is a non-sudsing formula that contains ingredients to keep your machine clean and working effectively 
  • NO RESIDUE - The carefully formulated detergent contains ingredients that dissolve well in both cold and hot water.  Just be sure not to add to much product - only 1-2 tbs is all you need! 
  • HYPOALLERGENIC – This synthetic free formula is full of minerals and gentle on the skin - great for those with sensitive skin.
  • PLASTIC-FREE – We don't pack our products in disposable plastic containers in an effort to help reduce waste.  Choose to have it packed in a returnable glass deposit jar (returns in-store only), a paper bag, or bring your own container for a refill.
  • WHITENING – Contains a color-safe whitener (sodium percarbonate).  The power of this ingredient is activated with hot water, so to get your whites whiter, use hot water.  This may use a little more energy for your white load, but the alternative is a harsh bleach.  For all other loads, this detergent can be effectively used in cold or warm water.

    Directions: Use only 1-2 tablespoons per load. 1 tablespoon for small or lightly soiled laundry, or 2 tablespoons for large loads.  2 heaping tablespoons for large AND heavily soiled loads.

    It works. It's not too scented and it feels good to not have a giant plastic container to throw away.

    No heavy scents!

    I’ve been using this detergent over a year and will never go back to plastic bottles or strips with plastic in them. I always use just a tablespoon straight in the machine and wash my lights with hot water. I also add a little vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser.
    In my dryer I use the felt dryer balls with a little essential oil. Currently I’m using pine, it gives a nice outdoorsy smell to the clothes.

    Works great!

    We've been using this product for years. A tablespoon does an average load, and double that will even get our muddy dog towels clean! It does do better if dissolved in warm water (I use a yogurt container) before pouring directly in the washer tub before clothes. Don't use the detergent dispenser in your washer if you can avoid it. It may clump up there, like many powders will. Going to restock today!

    I really wanted to like this detergent

    Everything about this detergent sounded great to me, but unfortunately I just couldn't get it to work. For one thing, the powder didn't dissolve in my machine - instead it ended up crystallizing and making a huge mess. When I finally did get it to dissolve, I'm not sure that it actually cleaned my clothes, as many of them came out smelling dirty and still covered in stains.

    Sadly, as much as I like the idea of this non-toxic detergent, in reality it didn't deliver as promised and I won't be buying it again.

    Amazing stuff!

    I just washed my first load and already I know I'll never buy anything else for my family's laundry.
    It's all natural, works well AND will keep my washer mold/mildew free!
    My only regret is not having known about this sooner.
